5 Stars Well Worth the Investment
As a first time user, I purchased the Garmin Nuvi 260W after reading how high it was rated in a consumer article. After receiving the unit, I am sold on it. First, the screen is clear and easy to understand. It takes only moments to locate a satellite. The spoken directions are clear and precise. The funny thing is that it can’t distinguish the abbreviation of DR to mean Drive. It calls DR Doctor. So, we are told to turn onto Oak Doctor. It’s lightweight, easy to store and so far has helped us navigate to addresses we would have had a difficult time finding. My only problem is that all cables are not included. You do not get the cable to hook into the computer to register or upgrade. Also, it would have been nice to have had at least a soft case included.

This unit performs as it was advertised and is well worth the investment.

5 Stars It’s a carrying case. What else can I say.
It carries the GPS unit well as expected. I got it as a free add on when purchasing the TomTom One GPS unit. It made for a good xmas gift. I probably would have purchased something with a little more padding if I hadn’t got this for free though.

5 Stars Great little carrying case!
This carrying case came as a bonus for buying a refurb. TomTom. I bought the TomTom as a Christmas present for my son. The TomTom did not work and we had to send it back. Instead of taking a chance by buying another refurb TomTom unit, I decided to buy a mid-level priced Garmin (3 members of our family all use the Garmin with never a problem) and now we use this TomTom One case as the case for the Garmin Nuvi. I have complaints about our Nuvi cases because they are merely slip style cases that will allow the GPS to fall out if tipped the wrong way (ouch) and this case has a nice strap that holds the GPS in and a hand strap to hold it. It works beautifully. I would buy this case for the Garmin Nuvi and the Garmin Nuvi for this case. ;o)

3 Stars Good, but a slight disapointment
The strap is not leather, the lock and button on strap are plastic, inside cushioning - synthetic. If you buy leather case, you want it to be a top notch quality and materials, but this isn’t the case.

Though still it does the job - to protect the little TomTom..:)

4 Stars Elegant and classy case
This is a really nice case and it doesn’t add significantly to the dimensions of the gps so that it is still very compact inside the case. The only downside is it doesn’t offer maximal protection (from drops, blows, heavier impact)like some of the bulkier cases for this gps might offer, plus it is partially open so I’m not sure how protective it would be in a heavy rain. Fortunately, it’s small enough to put in a raincoat pocket or a waterproof or resistant bag.

5 Stars Best product at a really cheap price..!!
I checked this product at circuitcity, walmart and bestbuy and they were selling the same product around 30 bucks. This product is really useful and must buy for all GPS owners. I live in Alany,NY area where winters are really harsh and GPS suction mount just don’t work on wind shields because of extremely cold temperature. Also to mention, for many states, law prevents you to use any kind of product on your windshield. This product is really heavy enough to hold on to dash board while making very sharp turns at high speeds. After buying this product, i really have a peace of mind and no more falling gps beneath the seats..!! I wish i had bought this product few years back.

4 Stars Works well, but a widescreen Garmin is a bit tight
I’m using this mount with a Garmin Nuvi 205W. It fits, but it’s a bit snug; the Garmin windshield mount is a bit short, and the bean bag part of this mount is a little high, so I end up having to squeeze the Nuvi on the mount. It’s not too bad though, but the amount of tilt is a bit limited (I’m unable to have it tilt forward help with glare for example).

Aside from that one minor issue, it works pretty well. I’ve tried hard braking and going around turns more quickly than I normally would, and the mount hasn’t moved an inch — this is on a big, flat dashboard (1997 Honda Odyssey). I haven’t had any problems with the mount in cold weather. Overall, it’s a good, inexpensive friction mount.

5 Stars Problem Solved
This little product solved 2 problems for me: 1) suction cup ghosts on the windshield and 2) long stretches to adjust my Garmin 265wt GPS while attached to the windshield suction cup. The first problem of course leaves a tell-tale mark that is easy for thieves to spot. That problem is solved because I simply move the dash pad to the floor of the vehicle.

The second problem is just a plain old pain in the ____, well you get the idea. Actually, it’s a pain in the neck and shoulders to reach/stretch that far. Not to mention the possible safety issues of being too far out of the driver comfort zone.

I’m using this dash pad in a Pontiac Montana Van which has an uneven dashboard surface, i.e, no flat spots where the dash pad can have great contact. Regardless, the dash pad has functioned flawlessly for me. It has not moved a single inch, even on sharp curves. I’ve been very impressed.

And for a low price of ~$14, this makes this very functional problem solver a real bargain.

My husband saw this product on line and we decided to purchase it for our GPS, he didnt like the idea of using the suction mount that came with our GPS, because it often leaves marks on the window, and is hard to get off. For safety reasons this product is easy to remove from the dash, and does not move when it is placed on the dash. Very satisfied.

5 Stars Doesnt give an inch
This dash pad doesnt move. I use an older tom-tom gps so its heavier than the newer ones, more top-heavy. The pad didnt move a bit going around the ‘cloverleaf’ system of the Dayton-Cincinnati area. I thought I would be chasing it into the passenger side of the car-but it stayed in one place.

4 Stars Works well but little slow on start up
This product is very good. The only problem I find is that it takes a while to acquire satellite which actually delays your startup.

Works well with memory card and yes, it can transmit the musci to your cars radio receiver very well.

5 Stars Garmin660 My Co-pilot
The Garmin 660 rates a 9.5 on the 10 scale. Since there is no need anymore, throw away those travel maps, fuel station locations and lodging brochures.We just returned from a 3,000 mile door to door, address to address vacation while testing our new GPS Nuvi and the results are in. WOW! The 660 does everthing but make coffee. The 660 with voice command alerts traffic and road work ahead with the ability to seek alternate routes 100 miles in advance. Because the 660 is so accurate the only glitch is in down town high density multi-ramp areas like D.C. where 30 feet is critical at 50 mph. Because of driver error, the 660 will guide the driver back to the key route with little loss of time. Our 660 found specific fuel brand stations,specific lodging and restaurants of our liking. While the GPS unit is but an electronic tool, it is by far the most innovative instrument for the common driver. Thank you, GARMIN.

4 Stars Garmin is the best, and this is the finest one I’ve used!
It’s not without it’s flaws, the same annoyances you will find in any GPS, sometimes choosing the wrong route, or not knowing about a small street (of course software updates can remedy some of this) but this Garmin is great, and it always gets you where you need to go. My only recommendation…TURN OFF THE VOICE! It will drive you crazy and you should be able to get where you’re going just by checking the screen from time to time. I also use this on my motorcycle and that works well too! I used heavy duty zip-ties and bought a second mount here on Amazon…so far so good! Downside to that is it isn’t waterproof…but I don’t particularly like riding in the rain anyway!

We use the Garmin nuvi 660 all the time. The wide screen makes a lot of difference and it has all the features we need. It came with a trial for updating the map with traffic alerts that came in very handy.
