GPS may charge via USB. It’s slower, but save $! eal

3 Stars You don’t need it
I don’t know why you would need this. We ordered it and only used it one time. After figuring out how to use our Garmin we discovered that our model does not hold a charge, thus we cannot carry it around and use it. To use it as a GPS, it has to be in a car and plugged into the outlet there. You wouldn’t really have a need to have your GPS plugged in at your home, because it isn’t moving and cannot function.

1 Star Careless misrepresentation
As with at least one other reviewer, found this to be incompatible with a C-series Garmin: c530. Now need to get refund, return, on a $20 item, as a consequence of a marketing hotshot’s inattention to specifications.

I misplaced my original charger for my Garmin GPS and could not find a charger anywhere else but Amazon.

5 Stars Works as advertised
Sometimes I have needed to charge my Garmin Street Pilot 530 and had been taking it out to the car for charging prior to leaving. Now I can just plug it in and be assured it (GPS) is properly charged and is ready to take me to my destination. This product does exactly as advertised.
