Does what I need it to do. Finds satellites very fast. Doesn’t have all of the bells and whistles, but that’s not what I bought it for.
5 Stars GREAT working Garmin
Best bang for the buck I have received in years!!! I have the built-in nav system in my 2007 Lexus and let me tell you this: the 205w Garmin has as many POI’s and offers MORE functions than the $249.00 software update I just had installed on the Lexus. Very easy to use and the options are wonderful especially the voice over that can be changed to your liking. I highly recommend this unit.
5 Stars Excellent entry-level wide-screen GPS from Garmin
The 205W is an upgrade of the 200W (now obsolete). Has bigger internal memory 2GB vs 1GB of 200W. Now comes with new eco-route feature that helps you drive more fuel-efficiently. Faster screen refresh in 3D navigation mode. Same familiar and excellent user interface with improvements like the zoom in/out buttons are now placed next to each other, instead of across the screen, new turn indicator and nicer icon designs. Great basic unit if you don’t need the frills like MP3 player, bluetooth or FM transmitter and just want to get to your destination!

I absoulutely love my Garmin nuvi 205W 4.3-inch Widescreen Portable GPS Navigator. Getting it on Amazon.com was even greater. The price beat all the other sites and even the Garmin site. GO Amazon.com

This is basically a good product with some room for improvment. It’s basically an overall good unit.
