Garmin is a best gps system, Garmin has a simple controls – simply touch the color screen to enter a destination, has a turn-by-turn voice directions, 2-D or 3-D maps and more feature.
I would suggestion a Garmin nuvi that has a Voice-activated navigation (good and popular) model is a 855, 885T.
Nuvi 855 : has Text to speech for spoken directions with real street names, Speech recognition – Voice-activated navigation (operate device with spoken commands), 4.3-Inch Widescreen, Multi-destination routing, Where am I?, Where’s my car?”, etc.
Nuvi 885T : has text-to-speech, voice-activated navigation (operate device with spoken commands), 4.3-Inch diagonal touch screen color display, bluetooth, multi-destination routing, where am I?, where’s my car?, personal travel assistant, get Enhanced MSN direct, microSD card slot, etc.
I highly recommend the Amigo Newelectronx GPS hand held system. I have the Newelectronx GPS and out of the 3 GPS’s that I owned before this is the best I have used. A lot of research went into my decision to on which GPS to buy. The Newelectronx rated higher and was the easiest to use out of any other brand on the market (in my opinion). You will be able to go and not have a worry in the world on where you are at, or how to get back to where you started from. You can walk a hundred circles in the woods and use the backtrack feature to retrace every foot step that you took.Or walk a straight line back to your starting point. This is the single most important tool I have ever used on a GPS.The Newelectronx GPS comes with tutorials to make using a GPS easy. If your parents are not good with touch screens then the GPS tutorials will come in handy.
